Para usar seu site no Google Sites, é necessário realizar a verificação de seu domínio junto ao Google e adicionar as entradas na zona de DNS do domínio. Confira como fazer o procedimento:

Etapa 1: Validar os requisitos
Antes de iniciar, confira todas as ações necessárias que você deverá fazer para que o procedimento possa ser realizado:
- ✓ O domínio deverá estar adicionado no cPanel
- ✓ O domínio deverá estar com o DNS da hospedagem configurado
- ✓ É necessário ter acesso aos aplicativos do Google
- ✓ O apontamento para o Google Sites deverá ser realizado no painel da hospedagem onde o domínio está vinculado (adicionado ao plano e com o DNS alterado)
Etapa 2: Gerar código de verificação do Google
O Google solicita que você prove que é o dono do domínio. Para isso, um código de verificação é gerado na plataforma do Google Sites e posteriormente deverá ser inserido na zona dns do domínio. Veja como gerar o código:
1No painel do Google sites clique na engrenagem de Configurações.
- - Clique em URLs personalizados
- - Insira a URL de seu domínio (com o www)
- - Depois, clique em Verifique a propriedade
Informações ilustrativas, substitua o termo "www.seudominio.com.br" pelo seu próprio domínio.
2Em Fazer login em seu provedor de nome de domínio, selecione a opção Outro.
3Em seguida, copie o código TXT gerado pelo Google, e salve em um bloco de notas.

Etapa 3: Inserir o código de verificação na hospedagem
Nesta etapa é necessário que você insira o código gerado na etapa anterior na zona de DNS de seu domínio. Este processo poderá ser realizado através do painel do plano (cPanel) que o domínio está vinculado.
Veja como realizar o procedimento através do cPanel:
1No cPanel, na barra de busca, procure por DNS.
- - Em seguida, clique em Zone Editor.
2Na nova tela, na linha do domínio que deseja acessar a zona, clique em Gerenciar.
3Clique em Adicionar Registro.
- - Em seguida, selecione a opção TXT.
4Em Nome, insira o seu domínio.
- - Em Registro, cole o código TXT gerado pelo Google.
- - Depois, clique em Adicionar registro.
5Após inserir o código TXT, volte na tela de confirmação do Google Sites e clique em Verificar.
Feito isto, seu domínio deverá estar verificado junto ao Google e para que ele possa de fato funcionar no Google Sites será necessário realizar um último apontamento. Confira na próxima etapa.
Etapa 4: Apontar o domínio para o Google Sites
Com o domínio verificado, será necessário apontá-lo para a plataforma do Google Sites. Este processo poderá ser realizado através do painel do plano (cPanel) que o domínio está vinculado.
Veja como realizar o procedimento através do cPanel:
1No cPanel, na barra de busca, procure por DNS.
- - Em seguida, clique em Editor de zona DNS.
2Na nova tela, na linha do domínio que deseja acessar a zona, clique em Gerenciar.
3Na barra de busca, procure por www.
- - Em seguida, na linha em que o domínio aparece com www, clique em Editar.
4Depois, no campo Registro, insira o valor GHS.GOOGLEHOSTED.COM
- - Para concluir, clique em Salvar alteração.
Feito todo o procedimento, o seu site deverá estar funcionando no Google Sites.
